Summer in our house means one thing: my dogs suddenly act like full-time outdoor adventurers. Every patch of grass is exciting, every walk needs to be twice as long, and every snack apparently tastes better in the sunshine.
So naturally, we’ve built a little “summer starter pack” of our favorite Purina ONE products that survive the chaos of hot days, muddy paws, and dramatic post-pool naps.
First up? Frozen treats.
We’ve been turning Purina ONE wet food into frozen lick mats lately, and my dogs now sprint to the freezer every time it opens. A little spread on a lick mat, toss it in the freezer for a bit, and suddenly you’re the greatest chef alive. Bonus points because it helps cool them down after walks without them realizing it’s secretly practical.

Easy meals during busy summer days are the real MVPs of the season. Between road trips, beach days, backyard hangs, and random iced coffee runs where your dog insists on being included, having food options they genuinely love makes life so much easier.
Summer with dogs is a little chaotic, a little sandy, and always covered in fur… but it’s the best kind of season anyway.
